Pizza Night Beats Delivery Every Time

Pizza is the meal nobody argues about. Whether it's a real crust you stretched yourself or pepperoni tucked into crescent rolls, everybody comes to the table without being called twice.

Cooks on Pepper reach for this collection on Friday nights, for sleepovers and birthday parties, and on those evenings when dinner needs to be hot in 30 minutes and hands-on enough to keep the kids busy.

Every recipe here is pizza in some form — Pepperoni Pizza Dip for the crowd, Easy 5 Minute Pizza Pockets on tortillas, Homemade pizza dough when you have the afternoon, Air fryer pizza rolls in wonton wrappers, and Crockpot pizza casserole with sausage and biscuits.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Let the dough rest

After mixing homemade pizza dough, cover it and let it sit at least 30 minutes so it stretches instead of springing back.

  2. 2

    Bake the pan hot

Preheat your oven to 450°F with the pan or stone inside for 20 minutes so the bottom crust crisps instead of steaming.

  3. 3

    Blot the pepperoni

Pat sliced pepperoni with a paper towel before it goes on pinwheels or pizza bites so the grease doesn't pool.

  4. 4

    Serve dip straight up

Pull the pizza dip out when the cheese is bubbling and let it sit 5 minutes so it thickens enough to scoop.
