WHY THE AIR FRYER OWNS SALMON NIGHT

The air fryer runs hot and dry, which is exactly what salmon needs — a fast sear on top with a moist interior underneath.

Cooks on Pepper reach for it on weeknights when they want something protein-packed and clean without waiting on the oven.

From honey-garlic glazes to Cajun rubs to bite-sized bowls, the format is flexible enough to keep the rotation interesting.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Pat it dry

Moisture is the enemy of crispy skin — dry salmon before it hits the basket.

  2. 2

    400°F for 8–10 min

That’s the range for a 1-inch filet; check with a fork at the thickest point.

  3. 3

    Skin down first

Skin protects the flesh from the hottest air and crisps into a treat.

  4. 4

    Rest before serving

Two minutes off heat lets the juices redistribute.
