Why Smoothies Belong in the Weekly Rotation

A high-speed blender turns frozen fruit, a scoop of protein, and a splash of milk into breakfast in under two minutes.

Cooks on Pepper build them for volume β€” smoothie bowls thick enough for a spoon, topped with granola and fresh fruit.

It's the easiest way to sneak greens, seeds, and extra protein into a morning that would otherwise be coffee-only.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Frozen fruit, not ice

Frozen bananas, mango, and berries make it thick without watering it down.

  2. 2

    Liquid first, then blade

Liquid at the bottom of the blender keeps the motor from bogging down.

  3. 3

    Add greens in stages

Spinach and kale blend cleaner in a two-stage blend β€” leaves first, then everything else.

  4. 4

    Sweeten with dates

A single date does more than a tablespoon of honey and adds fiber.
