  • 1 package Hershey's Hugs
  • 1 package Red and Green M & M's

Instructions

  3. 3Place a Hershey hug on top of each pretzel snap.
  4. 4Once the oven is preheated, put into the oven for 4-6 minutes or until Hershey's look slightly melted.
  5. 5Take them out of the oven and gently press an M&M into the Hershey's Hug for each pretzel bite.
  6. 6Let sit for 10 minutes or place in the fridge for 5 minutes until cooled and hardened.

Why Christmas Dinner Doesn't Have to Be a Marathon

The best Christmas menus lean on a single showpiece — a standing rib roast or spiral ham — and let easy sides and cookie plates do the rest.

Cooks on Pepper spread the workload across days: bake cookies on the 22nd, prep sides on the 24th, roast on the 25th — no chef ever fights the oven alone.

The recipes here are the community's holiday-tested favorites, the ones that make Christmas dinner feel special without eating the whole day.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Prep sides the day before

Casseroles hold overnight — assemble on Christmas Eve, bake fresh on the day.

  2. 2

    Rest the roast

Prime rib and turkey both need 20-30 minutes of rest — juices redistribute and slicing is cleaner.

  3. 3

    Ice-water potatoes

Peeled potatoes hold in cold water for hours without turning gray.

  4. 4

Set the table on the 24th

One less thing to do on Christmas Day — a decorated table makes the meal feel done.
