Open in Pepper →Chicken spaghetti is the pan you make when you need dinner to stretch. Noodles, shredded chicken, a creamy sauce and plenty of cheese, and nobody at the table asks what's in it — they just eat.
Cooks on Pepper reach for these on the nights a rotisserie chicken is sitting on the counter, when there's a potluck Sunday, or when the slow cooker needs to do the work before anybody gets home.
Every recipe here is a real version somebody makes: the classic Chicken spaghetti with bacon bits, Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti with rotisserie chicken, Crack Chicken Spaghetti, Crockpot Chicken Spaghetti, Monterey Chicken Spaghetti with sour cream, and a Creamy Parmesan Chicken Spaghetti with Roasted Broccoli.
Undercook the noodles
Boil spaghetti 2 minutes shy of the box time. It keeps soaking up sauce in the oven and won't turn mushy.
Use rotisserie chicken
One 2-pound rotisserie chicken gives you about 3 cups shredded, which is enough for most of these bakes and saves 30 minutes.
Shred your own cheese
Bagged shreds are coated to keep from clumping, so they melt grainy. Grate an 8-ounce block instead for a smoother sauce.
Let it rest 10 minutes
Pull the pan out and set it on the counter for 10 minutes before serving so the sauce tightens up and scoops clean.
