Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Crushed Black Pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp Freshly Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasonin
  • 1/2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/3 tbsp Sea Salt
  • 12 oz Raw Peeled Deveined Tail On Shrimp

Instructions

  1. 1Wash off your thawed shrimp and pat dry any excess wetness. Place shrimp into a clean bowl. Add your oil, and all of the seasonings to the bowl of shrimp. Squeeze in your lemon or lime juice and combine all ingredients until shrimp is fully coated. Set aside or in fridge for about 15 minutes to marinate. Feel free to add more or less seasonings depending on your personal preference.
  2. 2Make sure that your air fryer is set to about 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow the air fryer to preheat for about 2 minutes. Once preheated, add your shrimp mixture to the air fryer and be sure to spread out as evenly as possible. You'll want to cook them for about 8-10 minutes while giving them a good shake/stir at 4 or 5 minutes in. These shrimp turn out so juicy and flavorful. A real crowd pleaser. Serve them up on tacos, pasta, salad, with steak, whatever you like!

Why These Are the Air Fryer Recipes Worth Trying First

Not every air fryer recipe is worth your time. The ones that truly shine are the ones that use the appliance for what it's actually great at — creating crunch and char without oil, and cooking proteins quickly with juicy interiors.

Chicken thighs, salmon fillets, roasted vegetables, homemade chips, and anything breadcrumbed all perform brilliantly. These community favorites have been tested in real kitchens and saved by real cooks for good reason.

The recipes home cooks on Pepper reach for again and again are those that transform their kitchen appliances into everyday essentials.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Use a light oil spray

A quick spritz of oil on food before air frying promotes even browning and crispiness. Avoid aerosol cooking sprays that contain propellants — they can damage the basket coating over time.

  2. 2

    Lower temp than oven

Air fryers run hot. When converting oven recipes, reduce the temperature by 25°F and check for doneness a few minutes earlier than the recipe suggests.

  3. 3

    Line with parchment carefully

Perforated parchment liners make cleanup easy, but only add them once preheating is done and food is in the basket. A loose liner with no food on it can fly into the heating element.

  4. 4

    Great for reheating leftovers

The air fryer is unbeatable for reviving leftover fried foods, pizza, or roasted vegetables. 3–5 minutes at 350°F brings back crunch that a microwave completely kills.
