Ingredients

  • 4 Zucchini
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Original Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash your zucchini. Cut off the ends, and then cut it into quarters longways. Cut zucchini quarters into roughly 4 inch pieces and add them to a mixing bowl.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, mix together your parm cheese and Dan-O’s, then salt and pepper to taste.
  3. 3In your mixing bowl, drizzle in your olive oil and then add the parmesan mixture. Fold the zucchini slices over a few times to coat them all in the mix. Add them to a baking sheet with a wire rack at least an inch of space between each one. Sprinkle on extra parm and Dan-O’s mixture for added flavor and crunch.
  4. 4Bake zucchini fries at 350 degrees for about 17 minutes and then broil for 4 or 5 minutes to crisp them up. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. 5Dip in ranch and serve with your favorite protein. Enjoy!

Why the Oven Is Still the Most Underused Appliance

The oven cooks itself — season, slide the pan in, set a timer, and use the 30 minutes for anything but standing at the stove.

Cooks on Pepper build the weeknight rotation around sheet-pan dinners and one-dish bakes because the cleanup is a single tray.

The recipes here are the ones that let the oven do the work — you show up at the beep with dinner already plated.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Preheat fully

Slid a pan into a not-hot-yet oven and you're steaming, not baking.

  2. 2

    Use a sheet pan

One pan, one bake, one dish to wash — the entire appeal of oven cooking.

  3. 3

    Rest before slicing

Baked proteins need 5-10 minutes of rest so the juices redistribute.

  4. 4

    Broil for the finish

Two minutes on high broil crisps cheese, browns tops, and turns a bake into a showstopper.
