Do I need to add an image to a recipe?
Using your recipes
There are two versions to this question: (1) a recipe you're uploading, and (2) a recipe you're following in the app.
Version 1 — Uploading a recipe
If you're uploading a recipe — either by importing a link or typing it into the text box — you'll need to include an image before publishing it. For most imported content, Pepper attaches an image from the site you imported it from. If you'd like to change the image, follow these steps:
1Press on the three dots (•••) at the top of the recipe.
2Select Edit.
3To fully remove the image and replace it with a new one, tap the "x" button in the top-right; to simply add more photos of the finished product, tap the "Add Photos" button in the top-left.
4Press the "Next" button in the top-right corner.
5Finally, press the Post button.
Version 2 — Following a recipe in the app
If you're following a recipe that already exists in the app, there's no need to take a photo.
1Simply press the check mark under the recipe image.
2It will ask you to review and continue.
3Your completed recipe will then be added to your completed recipes on your profile page.
