Pasta That Actually Hits Your Macros

The trick to high-protein pasta isn't the noodle — it's the ratio. A pound of lean meat, a scoop of cottage cheese in the sauce, and suddenly a bowl clears 40 grams without tasting like a diet.

Cooks on Pepper reach for this collection when they want the comfort of a pasta night without blowing the daily protein target.

Every recipe here lands at 30g+ of protein per serving using either legume-based pasta, cottage cheese sauces, or generous lean protein.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

Cottage cheese blends into any sauce

Blend a cup smooth and it disappears into red or white sauce — 25g protein, zero grit.

  2. 2

    Chickpea pasta cooks fast

Watch it closely — Banza and lentil pasta turn mushy 90 seconds past al dente.

  3. 3

    Save that pasta water

Starchy water thickens protein-heavy sauces so cottage cheese doesn't break.

  4. 4

    Ground turkey holds its own

A pound of 93/7 ground turkey doubles the plate's protein without changing the flavor.
