Ingredients

  • 3/8 cup Milk- warm
  • 1/3 cup Butter- melted
  • 1 cup Pineapple juice- room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 eggs Eggs- slightly beaten
  • 4 1/2 cup Bread Flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp or a packet Quick-rising Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. 1Add ingredients to bread pan according to your Breadmachine's manual directions. My machine calls for liquids first.
  2. 2Add to bread pan in this order: warm Milk, melted Butter, Pineapple Juice, Sugar, Salt, Eggs and Bread Flour.
  3. 3Create a small well in the Flour and add Yeast. Keeping it away from the liquid in the bottom.
  4. 4Set your Breadmachine to its 2lb Dough setting. Allow machine to prepare dough. Mine takes 1.5 hr.
  5. 5Prepare a bowl by greasing it for dough. When dough is finished add it to bowl, allow it to rise to double its size.
  6. 6Once dough has doubled in size, separate into equal portions. I use a kitchen scale and each roll of dough is about 2- 2 1/4 oz each. Arrange in greased 9x13 baking dish. You should get about 20 Rolls.
  7. 7Cover Rolls with a clean kitchen towel and allow to rise to double in size. Time varies depending on the Temperature of your kitchen.
  8. 8Once Rolls have risen, brush with the 2 tbsp milk and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. Until tops golden brown.
  9. 9Enjoy! These are great as dinner rolls or even better as slider rolls :)

Why a Bread Machine Makes Homemade Bread Actually Happen

A bread machine removes every barrier to homemade bread. You add ingredients in the right order, press a button, and come back to a finished loaf. No kneading, no shaping, no timing anxiety.

Beyond basic white bread, the machine excels at enriched doughs — brioche, cinnamon swirl, and soft rolls all benefit from the gentle, consistent kneading cycle. Use the dough setting to get it to the right stage, then shape and bake in your oven for a better crust.

Home cooks on Pepper are building their bread machine recipe libraries to make fresh-baked bread part of their weekly routine.

Quick Tips

  1. 1

    Liquids Go in First

Always add ingredients in the order your machine specifies — usually liquids first, then flour, then yeast on top. Keeping yeast separate from liquid until the cycle starts prevents premature activation.

  2. 2

Use Bread Flour for Better Rise

Bread flour has more protein than all-purpose, which creates more gluten and gives machine-made loaves better structure and chew. All-purpose works but produces a denser, slightly flatter result.

  3. 3

    Dough Setting Opens More Options

Use the dough-only setting for rolls, cinnamon buns, and pizza dough — let the machine do the kneading, then shape and bake in a conventional oven for a better crust and more control over the result.

  4. 4

    Measure by Weight, Not Volume

Flour especially varies dramatically by volume depending on how packed it is. A kitchen scale and a few grams of precision makes the difference between a reliable loaf and a collapsed, gummy one.
