Drumsticks in the air fryer — chipotle honey mustard, garlic parmesan, BBQ, bacon wrapped, sticky soy-garlic — for busy weeknights with hungry kids.

In the famous words of DJ Jazzy Jeff “Drums Please!” These Chipotle Honey Mustard Drumsticks will have you munching to the beat after one bite. They’re mouthwateringly good, and with the Dan-O’s Chipotle giving them a nice smoky subtle heat pairs wonderfully with the rich honey and mustard coating.

Open in Pepper →A pack of drumsticks costs a few dollars and feeds everybody, and the air fryer gets the skin crisp without heating up the whole kitchen. No flipping a pan of hot grease, no waiting on the oven.
Cooks on Pepper reach for this collection on the nights when dinner has to be hands-off — drumsticks in the basket, rice or mac and cheese going on the stove, everyone fed in half an hour.
Every recipe here is built around drumsticks: Chipotle Honey Mustard Drumsticks, Garlic Parmesan drumsticks, BBQ Chicken Drumsticks, Parmesan Crusted Chicken Drumsticks, Bacon wrapped drumsticks, Soy-Garlic Chicken Drumsticks, and a chicken leg dinner with cottage cheese mac and cheese.
Pat the skin dry
Blot each drumstick with paper towels before seasoning. Dry skin crisps in the basket instead of steaming.
Leave space between legs
Arrange 5 or 6 drumsticks in a single layer with room around each one, and cook in two batches if you need to.
Turn them halfway
Flip the drumsticks around the 12 to 14 minute mark so both sides brown evenly.
Sauce the last minutes
Brush on BBQ sauce or honey glaze in the final 3 to 5 minutes so the sugar sets instead of burning.
